Care Instructions
At Little Stone Designs, each crystal suncatcher is carefully handmade to bring light, colour and sparkle into your home. With the right care, your piece will stay beautifully radiant for years to come.
Cleaning Your Suncatcher
For most crystal suncatchers:
- Submerge in hot soapy water using a mild dishwashing liquid
- Gently move through the water to remove dust and buildup
- Remove and place on a soft cloth to air dry
- No need to wipe — this helps avoid streaks and keeps crystals sparkling
Important Exceptions
Some designs include delicate components that should not be placed in water:
- Filigree metal pieces
- Acrylic wings or decorative elements
For these suncatchers:
- Gently wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth
- Take care to avoid getting filigree or acrylic components wet
What to Avoid
- Do not submerge suncatchers with filigree or acrylic elements
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners
- Do not use rough cloths or paper towels
- Do not place in dishwashers
Handling & Placement
- Handle with care — crystals and delicate components can break if dropped
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Hang securely using appropriate hooks or fixtures
- For best results, place near a window where it can catch natural light
A Little Note
Each piece is handmade, so slight variations are part of its unique charm.
